Dark and dreary room interior. Room was a decent size but the bathroom shower was less than inviting. The TV remote needed new batteries. We were happy there was a frig but the freezer needed defrosting. Re: room door: The deadbolt didn't align with the hole in the frame rendering the door lock useless. The frig was missing a bracket and the room lacked any Kleenex. Their complimentary breakfast was actually the worst one we have seen in the month we've been travelling. The breakfast room floor was a sticky mess. Would never stay there again.

Dirty, dirty, DIRTY!!! Yuck! Not even worth spending a couple hours in that place. Came to town for a concert, didn't​ want to waste money. Well never ever ever again. Just 100% run down. Not a single anything was clean. The walls...dirty, bathroom...dirty, bed...dirty, floors...dirty!!!! Ants everywhere, and they have the nerve to charge $150 fee if you smoke in the room...really??? Blood stains on the towels , blood stains on the walls, after making the 4 hour drive I really wanted to shower BUT just could not bring myself to do so. Then I thought maybe I could put a towel in the shower to step on BUT the towels had blood stains on them, it  literally look as if there had been a homicide in there, people arguing in the next room , pure filth! The whole place smells like damp dog and smoke...Just close this place down. I wouldn't have given it 1star but i guess to post giving some type rating is an requirement!

Staff was great. Didn't really bother me nor did I talk much to them. The lady that checked me in was pearl she was great. Now my room it was a non smoking but smelled like an smoking room there where people smoking in hall way bathroom omg I have never been in jail but this is a jail cell the shower is crazy. The hotel is close to some good eating places. But I would say make this your last resort

Obviously, booking a hotel during the eclipse limits the choices, but the friendly staff was the end of my good experience here. I'm just glad to have a place to stay, but if I had my SUV, I'd rather stay in there. 

Biggest complaint: the entire floor was wet. And this wasn't recent, because the musty smell had already established itself. Socks got soaked, feet were moist all night. Opening window helped musty smell, but being a first floor it felt unsafe. 

Bedding was ratty and frayed, bathroom paint was peeling. Never had such a bad experience at an Econolodge, as I've stayed in scores of hotels over my years of travel. I've had better rooms at the Motel 6, and should have gone there instead.

I personally never leave reviews; in fact, this my first time leaving a review for a business through google. I've been to many econolodges before, so I know what to expect in terms of room quality and it's never been a problem for me. I don't mind if the hotel is a bit seedy. It's cheap, and I'm not picky after a long day of work. But BED BUGS are one thing I have zero tolerance for. I'm now covered in dozens of horribly itchy bites after my stay. I cannot implore you enough - steer clear of this facility.
