I can't say enough bad things about my experience with Ed Weeren Insurance. As a bit of background, I have business insurance with them (or, so I thought), set up in August of last year. Over the past three weeks, I've been trying to get them to raise the limit on the insurance, which is a requirement for a company I am trying to work with. 

I've gone back and forth with my representative Joyce, trying to get her to complete this quote. She is unresponsive to both phone calls and emails, and it often took me 4 or 5 times to get her to repsond at all. But, on Friday morning of last week, she finally promised to complete the quote by the end of business. This morning, the quote was not complete - no word from her at all. I called up and spoke with her about it. She said that "Oh, I was out of the office Friday." I reminded her that I spoke with her Friday. She said, "Oh, I was out the second half of the day, and I didn't get to it." 

After our phone call, she emailed me an application form for the insurance. I wrote back, saying that we already HAD the insurance; we simply needed a higher limit. She said, no - you don't have that insurance. she never bought it.

So, 10 months ago, she never actually purchased the insurance that she told us about. We've been running without it this entire time. 

I suppose the icing on the cake was when I called and spoke with the President of the company, Kelly, who - after I explained the situation, said - "Ok, thanks for telling me." And hung up. 

Take your business elsewhere. They really are terrible.

They were great in the beginning but then I had a claim and everything went to hell.  I'm out 12 grand have have gotten no satisfactory response after emails and visiting their offices. Now I my policy is not being renewed, with 30 days warning, for a situation they have known about for a year. Good riddance.

Ed Weeren is the best we have ever used, and we wont use anybody else to cover our buildings   We are an Austin based commercial real estate company since 1974 .  We have had claims over the years and nobody has protected us like the Ed Weeren Company,  their expertise and experience has been superb!

My mom has used Ed Weeren Insurance for years she would not go anywhere else. They have excellent customer service and have answered any questions she may have. Highly recommend!!!

 with over 25 years of experience of being a client==cannot say enough good things about this company==they never failed to serve our best interest of our company==they are a real gem in the Austin business community==anyone would be hitting a homerun by being in a relationship with this firm    Bill Clawson
