I am so happy and primarily relieved with Efficient Transportation. Their name really speaks volumes and they've certainly lived up to it from my experience. I recently moved to LA from NYC and had a ton of stuff I had to get over here. Of course, I was highly concerned about letting my cherished things go with total strangers across the country for several days, but it was inevitable, so I held my breath and left the rest up to fate. I talked to Jon and he did his best to assure me everything would be fine and arrive safely and in a timely manner. He's a salesman, so of course I was still concerned that his charm was skin deep, but he did seem genuine as far as I could tell, so I went with it. My things actually arrived to LA even BEFORE the time they told me they would! And all my belongings were safe, Thank God. What a pleasant surprise and major relief. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Jon in person, as he wanted to make sure I was totally satisfied as he'd promised. I could tell at that point that even aside from his keeping his word, he was much more than just a salesman. He's a charming, funny, professional and best of all down to earth kind of guy. ABSOLUTELY will recommend them to my friends and family. It's not easy finding a quality moving company.

I needed to move from LA to Phoenix and quick after receiving a 30 day notice for renovations to my apartment. I tried calling TONS of movers, and they all tried to jip me on the price. Finally, I called Efficient. I should have done it a long time ago, because they were willing to work with me on my tight budget for the move. The representative knew what he was doing, he came out to my house and assessed the size of my move and gave me a solid price I could afford and assured me that everything would be easy. Why can't other movers just make it this simple? He and his crew stuck by their word and made the whole thing as stress free as possible. The driver Nathan was really helpful and explained everything and got it out to me in Phoenix as quickly as possible. He even went ahead and professionally wrapped and protected my T.V. for cheap knowing I was hurting financially. My only concern and why I give 4 stars is that one of my brand new dressers had a chip on the side when they delivered, but considering how fast they got me moved in and for a great price its too good to pass up a deal like this. Professional work on a novice price. Would recommend to anyone looking to move without the stress of a high pressure salesman in your face trying to strong arm you.

Thoroughly disappointed with the moving experience. Goods badly damaged; delivery promises broken; driver incapable of using GPS - threatened to leave without delivery if I did not go in search of him (he went off course into side streets). The estimate for the inventory was way off mark (goods loaded generously to maximize billing space). I ended up paying almost three times the contracted amount. The fellow was not willing to come up to my apartment unless I came down and paid him cash for the balance amount! A completely useless outfit. Keep far away from using this mover!

A friend from NY recommended using this moving company and I am so glad they did. The price was right and it arrived a few days after I got to NY. The movers were friendly and took good care of my belongings (other than a few already somewhat damaged pcs which I don't even know why I decided to bring with me). Although I don't know too many people moving cross country, if I do hear of anyone I will be sure to recommend to them

I PAID EFFICIENT MOVERS AKA EFFICIENT TRANSPORTATION ON APRIL 18, 2016 TO MOVE MY PROPERTY FROM SAN DIEGO, CA TO TAMPA, FL. AND TO RECEIVE IN TAMPA, FL ON MAY 2, 2016. WELL I BEEN FLYING BACK AND BEFORE DOWN HERE FROM TAMPA, FL ( 3 TIMES ROUND TRIP ) TO GET MY PROPERTY BECAUSE NOW THEY REFUSE TO DELIVERY OR GIVE IT TO ME. THEY WANTED ANOTHER $6000.00 TO DELIVERY OR GIVE MY PROPERTY TO ME. SO I CALL THE LA MESA, CA POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FILE CHARGES AGAINST THEM AND I HAVE STATE FARM RENTER INS. COMPANY DOING THERE INVESTIGATION. I BEEN THREATEN, HARASSMENT, EMBEZZLEMENT, BY JONATHAN AKA JON AKA JOHN AND TON AND ALEX THE ONE WHO CAME AND STOLE MY PROPERTY FROM 5545 MORRO WAY, G6, LA MESA, CA. I FLEW INTO SAN DIEGO, CA ON OCTOBER 13, 2016 TO FINALLY GET MY PROPERTY SINCE I DIDN'T GIVE INTO EMBEZZLEMENT. I WAS SUPPOSED TO ME ALEX THE PACKER AND MOVERS ON OCTOBER 12, 2016 BUT AS USUALLY THEY COULDN'T MAKE IT, JUST LIKE WHEN I HIRE THEM TO COME PACK MY PROPERTY IN THERE TRUCK, I TOLD TONY I NEED A 26" TRUCK AND HE CAME WITH A SMALLER TRUCK AND THAT'S WHEN THE PRICE STATED GOING UP. AND I PACK MY OWN PROPERTY. THEY WERE 3 DAYS LATE AND IT WAS ONLY ALEX AND HIS COUSIN THAT CAME TO WORK. AND IT TOOK THEM FROM 9:30AM - 10:30PM. I MISSING 4 DAYS OF WORK WITH NO PAID AND I AM GLAD I PAID WITH A CASHIERS CHECK FROM MY BANK. WELL WHEN I FINALLY SAW MY PROPERTY, ALL OF MY COMPUTER STUFF IS STOLEN ( DESK TOP, MONITOR, KEYBOARD, SAMSUNG BLUE RAY, CANON PRINTER, FAX, SCAN AND COPY COPIER AND 2 SPEAKER. AND THEY CRACK MY 50 " LCD TV AND STOLEN LINENS, CLOTHES. ALL MY BOXES AND CONTAINERS WHERE ALL OPEN AND RUMBLE THOUGH. ALL MY GLASS BOXES ALL THE GLASS WAS BROKEN ETC. I CAN GO ON AND ON. NOW JONATHAN THE OWNER AKA JON AKA JOHN THEY ME ON OCT. 13, THAT AS SOON AS MY PROPERTY IS OUT OF THE PUBLIC STORAGE AT 1047 JOHNSON ST. EL CAJON, CA. HE WAS GOING TO GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY SINCE THE MONEY I PAID HIM TO MOVE MY PROPERTY FROM SAN DIEGO, CA TO TAMPA, FLORIDA. DIDN'T GET DELIVERED. ALEX THE PACKER AND MOVERS WHO CAN AND STOLE MY PROPERTY WAS SUPPOSED TO BRING THE MONEY I GAVE HIM AND THE MONEY BBB TOLD THEM TO GIVE ME. WELL ALEX DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY AND HE WAS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. SO I TEXT JONATHAN AND ASK HIM WHERE IS MY MONEY YOU TOLD ME THAT ALEX SUPPOSED TO GIVE ME. JONATHAN LIE AGAIN AND SAID HE HAD TO WAIT FOR HIS SUPERVISOR TO SIGN THE CHECK. REMEMBER JONATHAN IS THE OWNER/SUPERVISOR. SO HERE HE GO AGAIN LYING SO I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET MY MONEY IN CASH ON MONDAY OCTOBER 17, 2016. SO I TEXT JONATHAN AND TONY ON OCTOBER 17, 2016 AND TOLD THEM I WAS ON MY WAY TO THERE OFFICE AT 3242 ADAM AVE, SAN DIEGO, CA TO GET MY MONEY AND WHEN I GOT THERE THE OFFICE WAS CLOSE. SO I WAIT AWHILE AND THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP SO I WROTE A LETTER TO THEM AND TAPE IT ON THE WINDOW. NOW I AM STUCK DOWN HERE IN SAN DIEGO, CA WITH NO MONEY TO RENT A UHAUL AND FLY BACK TO TAMPA, FL HERE I GO MISSING 3 DA'S OF WORK SO FAR. BECAUSE I TOLD HIM I AM NOT LEAVING SAN DIEGO, CA WITHOUT MY MONEY. TALKING ABOUT WANT TO MAIL IT TO ME. AND I TOLD HIM NO, I WILL PICK IT UP IN PERSON. I TOLD HIM THATS WHAT HE TOLD ME 6 MONTHS AGO AND YOU NEVER DELIVERY IT. AND I TOLD HIM I DON’T TRUST HIM EITHER. HE THINK I STUPID AGAIN NOT. I AM GOING TO THE OFFICE TOMORROW MORNING OCTOBER 19, 2016 WITH THE POLICE TO GET MY MONEY. WE NEED TO PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS FOR GOOD. THEY HAD 15 COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB AND THEY BEEN HAVING TO PAY ALL THOSE CUSTOMERS BACK THERE MONEY. THEY ARE SCAMMER AND THRIVES. IF YOU NEED TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT.
