I honestly don't think. I know what's going on with the security guard there.  But it pissed me off when this happened.

Everything is all good then, till this female security guard is all like, telling me to cut off the music and like I'm like why? And she says you've been here all day.  I said so. I'm leaving off this property.  So I felt like I was being violated by here even though I'm homeless and I'm trying to get my life together.  She had to tick me off. And called the sheriffs on me.  Which totally screwed up my night of peace.  But now I'm trying to find hope.  In making my life better.  And just walking away like A Man.

Horribly designed. You must go down stairs and then go up the stairs to get to the upper level. Only 2 bathroom in the whole facility!? I mean 2 stall out of the whole place! Are you kidding me? Now it's even better! They shrink the parking lot and then charge you $2 a day to park your car there! That'll encouraging people to save the environment and save money by taking public transportation instead of driving.

This is where anyone can get a Foothill or MTA bus. People can also catch the train here.

I use it to go to work downtown sometimes. Definitely convenient with Silver lines and Silver streaks.  Overall I'm happy it is there; large parking lot(s) is a plus.
 
As for the bus station, layout is really bad. When I first heard about their opening few years ago, it was touted as the largest bust station west of Chicago. I was excited. Now, having used buses (transit in general) in different cities of the world, i must say, I am disappointed.

Worst design for pedestrians. We have to climb down and up again to get to the buses from the main entrance and parking lots , while buses and staff ply easily on the upper level. Imagine being elders and moms with kids, particularly if escalators/elevators are not working.  Why they couldn't let people walk straight in from parking lots, is appalling. Of course, this would need redesign and rearranging bus route and stations, beats me.

No other facilities exist, not even a shop, except may be a food cart. I think they need to spruce this up more like they did to Union station. If it is convenient more people will ride buses.

To this end, they seriously have to consider this as the bus hub with lot more serious connections. Faster connection to El monte train station (mono rail?) will add value and reduce local traffic. Right now, it may take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get to LAX and 2 - 3 hours to Ontario airport depending on the time of day. How do they expect traffic to reduce on the freeways?!! 

In summary, it is good to have this bus station in our neighborhood, but seriously needs improvement.

The buses take me were I need to go so it's a great transportation to be able to make sure I'ma get to my destination😃
