Story

-The Elgin Animal Clinic has been open since August 10, 2010 and is owned by Dr. Lakhwinder Dhillon.
-We pride ourselves for being a lower cost clinic in the Elgin Area.
-We are open seven days a week and are only closed on four holidays a year (New Years Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day).

About the Doctor:
-Dr. Dhillon went to school at the Punjab Agricultural University, India. He received his Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) in 1989 and later received his Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology with Merit in 1999.
-Dr. Dhillon has many years of experience working with and treating both large and small animals. He practiced as a small and large animal veterinarian for 10 years in India. In 2000, he moved to Canada and practiced in a small animal clinic for 4 years before moving to Chicago, IL in 2005 where he began working at Banfield as the Chief-of-Staff Veterinarian. 5 years later, he decided to open his owner business and opened the Elgin Animal Clinic.
-In his free time, Dr. Dhillon likes to relax at home watching the Discovery Channel, CNN, or Fox news.
-Dr. Dhillon’s favorite part about being a doctor is saving an animal’s life. Seeing the life return to the eyes of the sick animals is the most rewarding factor in this field. We may not be able to save them all, but with each one that slips away from us, we switch up our protocol to improve our chances for the next one that comes in.
