We love the doctors and staff here! Dr. Byron is very helpful in explaining treatment, and in providing clarity with what's happening with our cats. We particularly appreciate that he takes the time to check in with us to see how are furry friends are doing days after their visit with him. All the staff take their time in answering our questions and addressing concerns. The office is clean, and we appreciate that there's a designated cat space while we wait to have our cats be seen. The location provides parking space, so that's never a worry. My only complain, though it does not warrant a lower score, is that it's very far from home! We wish the was a place like this on the southwest side. Highly recommend this location for your furry companions.

This is the closest avian vet by me, If I could I would go too another one. I have small parakeets and the average check up is 70 it went up from 60$. I had taken my budgie when she was I'll. I decided to pay for a series of treatments, including "hospital stay" a shot of nutrients and tube feeding since the budgie was sick and very thin. Everything seem to be fine but I decided to see the place where my parakeet would be staying at, much to my dismay the doctor and nurse had not set up the budgie in the "hospital room." It seemed to me that the primary aim of the physician and nurse was to persuade me to elect the more costlier procedure. Under there care I was given a form to check off, this included if the patient required resuscitation I authorize them to attempt everything in their power to save the patient which was upward of 200$. Sadly my budgie passed away but lived a long life. They where wiling to refund me my deposit.

They took splendid care of my feline friends when I was on an out-of-town project. Overall, from the impeccable facility to the friendly and professional staff, my experience with AHoC was a delight.

We've been bringing our pets here for years. Our dogs Brock and Dory love Dr. Jenny (when she's not giving them a shot) She was there when we had to put our dog Waylon to sleep a few years ago. And again today when our little ferret Peanut was put to sleep. Each time the decision to part with our pets was not easy but they laid out all our options and what the future for the animal might be if we chose surgery for them. And when we ultimately had to choose the hard decision and say goodbye, we weren't pressured in to choose surgery or expensive medication that couldn't guarantee a future with less pain for them. Which is important to my wife and I. It's hard enough to make a decision like that without some kind of guilt trip or feeling of being judged. They were supportive and accomodating to us and we appreciate it.
