Where do I begin? Dr. Thompson is a outstanding Veterinarian. Also a Vet who served for this Country! He and his staff sincerely care about not only your fur babies but you as well. He is always patient taking the time to listen to my concerns as a crazy dog lady and educate me on what needs to be done and why. They will not try and give you things that aren't needed or necessary. They know not only my Emma by name but MINE as well! I recommend this Clinic to anyone searching for the right Veterinarian. I drive all the way from out east just to come here. And Emma hates leaving...probably from the belly rubs and treats she gets while there. :)

Dr. Thompson is the nicest, most caring vet I have ever been to! I will always take my animals there knowing that they will get top notch treatment! Thanks again to the staff at Elk Ridge!

Dr. Thompson is extremely knowledgeable without any hint of condescension. Friendly staff that are understanding with whatever your situation may be. Our dogs get excited to go to the vet! We've even stopped by just to say hello, that's how much we enjoy them.

Dr. Thompson has done an excellent job with all our pets. Our dog does not always enjoy trips to the vet, but we can trust Dr. Thompson to do a great great job of providing care. Even if our dog gives him a work out. HaHa. She really hates going to the vet! His assistant also did a great job helping with our pets. And Rhonda at the front desk is always so pleasant and friendly to see. We have had him give shots to both our dogs, take care of a infected tick bite on our dog. Treated our cat with urinary problems, and we had a cat put to sleep due to age and health issues. As hard as that was the staff made it as smooth as it could be. Even sent us a sweet card after. We wont take our pets anywhere else. If you are looking for a great place to take your pets this is the place!

The staff has always been great for yearly checkups and extra special during my dog's recent surgery. Dr Thompson, Janet and Rhonda are very knowledgeable, thorough and take the time to answer all my concerns and questions. Appreciate how much they care!!
