My 9yr old cousin was rushed to this hospital two days ago (all the way from Colombia) in an ambulance after suffering a seizure. The pediatric neurologist was called & did not come down to see him. No blood tests were run on him, no brain scan was done. All they did was check his limb reflexes & checked his eyes. They did not provide any type of medicine & gave him discharge papers with information on where to go. He could've had another seizure on the way home & we would not have had any way of helping him. This hospital needs to be sued for malpractice!! How dare you treat a child this way after suffering a major medical emergency like this for the first time!

Where should I start??
How about at Home rushing to the Bathroom. Tripped, fell & fractured my Hip. Called 911. Paramedics took me to Shady Grove Hospital & then to Georgetown University. Unfortunately, I came there when "The Dreaded Weekend Students" were In-Charge, which explains why I had 2 Cardiac Arrests Back-To-Back!! I woke up can't talk with a Breathing Tube, Wires, Lines & Big Bright Lights!!! Mom told me I'd better get out of there, so I wrote on a piece of paper to please transfer me to UMMC.
Since I had a Recent Open-Heart Surgery, was a Dialysis Patient for 5 years, a New Fractured Hip & just suffered 2 Cardiac Arrests, I was evacuated to Baltimore by MedStar Helicopter!!
I can therefore give you AN HONEST & VERY ACCURATE COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW:

IN THE "ER":

THE ER IN GENERAL CAN BE "HIT OR MISS"!!

THE ATTENDING DR. SMEDLEY & THE  MED-STUDENT DR. ANDREAS BOTH HAVE GREAT BEDSIDE MANNERS.

**BEWARE OF THE ER STUDENT-TEAM "MED-1" which was originally "MED-4" & IS "PUPPETED" BY THE ATTENDING DR. ADA OFFURUM BUT SHE REALLY IS LEAD BY THE ARROGANT & EVIL RESIDENT YITSCHOK APPLEBAUM!!! WHEN HE IS ON SHIFT, HE THINKS HE IS "GOD"!! HIS WHOLE TEAM SEEMS "AFRAID" OF HIM INCLUDING RESIDENTS SARAH GREEN & MATTHEW SMITH....TO ME THEY ACT LIKE "CHUMPS"....RETALIATING AGAINST SICK PATIENTS THAT COME IN FOR HELP & SENDING THEM TO "THEIR" MICU & OBSERVATION UNITS....REALLY SHOWS THEIR LOWER-THAN-LIFE CHARACTERS!!!**

The Nurses you want would be Tamika Judkins, Halie, Lynn, Sarah & Laurel, Lindsay, Jess "The Best", Basha & Jackie.
**THE BEST TECHS IN THE ER ARE "KEITH, DEANDRA & NIKKA" !!**

X-RAY Tech "Bobby (Night) & Emily (Day)" are FANTASTIC!!!
** X-ray Tech "Sarah" was NOT FRIENDLY**

**MOST OF THE ER & REGULAR HOSPITAL TRANSPORTERS ARE VERY FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL & SAVVY!!!**

***JEWEL & ERIC of Environmental Services are EXCELLENT!!!***

IN THE CCU:
The Nurses you want are Paige, Cindy & Kevin.
The Techs you need are Carl "1-Roll Bed Changer", Mike & DJ.

IN THE MICU:
 **BEWARE -  You really don't want to be here!!! IT'S GOVERNED BY STUDENT-TEAM "MED-4/MED-1"!!!**

IN DIALYSIS:
Most of the Doctors are AVERAGE.
You'd want Dr. Weir, Dr. Costa, Dr. Chandra & Dr. Salzburg.
**KEEP AN EYE ON ATTENDING DOCTOR DONNA HANES!!**
The Nurses you'd like would be Stephanie, Susan, Kesha, Kaydian, Eva, Patty, Tiffany, Jill, Rachida, Philip & Lauren.
The Techs you'd want are Amanda, Michelle, Julia & Ayleen.

IN THE "IR":
The Doctors you want to know are Dr. Lowe, Dr. Richard & The AWESOME Nurse Practioners "MINDY, MICHELLE & PATTY" 
The Nurses that are EXCELLENT are Nancy, Amy, Maureen, Annie, Shantel, Patty, Penny, Jess, Nichole & Christina.
The Techs that rock are Tina, Tae, Suzie, Kelly, Tomiko, Chuck & Carolyn.

THE 13TH FLOOR:
STUDENT-TEAM "MED-6" IN-CHARGE. 
**BEWARE OF INEXPERIENCED DOCTORS Dr. Chin, Dr. Afshar & Dr. Farooq!!!**

Dr. Larlaker had Nice Bedside Manners.
The Good Nurses are Kim, Arielle, Carlee, Chloe, Rosario, DeCarlo, Sydney, Mariama, Amanda & Tanyya

**BEWARE OF EVIL NURSE LINDA, YOU WILL KNOW HER BY THE UGLY & MEAN LOOK SHE HAS!!!**

The Good Techs would be Gordona, Nichole, Veronica & Danielle.

**BEWARE OF EVIL TECH "JESMIN" WHO IS FRAUDULENT & 2-FACED!!**

THE 10TH FLOOR:
10 EAST: Nurses Kayla & Bikash.
10 WEST (IMC): Ask for Tech "EBONY". 

THE 9TH FLOOR:
The Good Nurses were "Fab",  Loretta, Franchesca & Josh.
***BEWARE OF THE 2 EVIL NURSES "WHITNEY" & "CHRISTINE"!!! ***

THE 3RD FLOOR:
The Nurses "Mommy, Bernice & Moha" are Great!!

IN SHOCK TRAUMA/ORTHO:
The Dr. Theodore Manson is very "Hip!!!
The Excellent Nurses are Mary. Stella, Sysan, Kathy, Chelsea, Jackie, Valerie Taylor, Ruth Neary.

THE PHYSICAL THERAPIST "CASSANDRA" IS AWESOME!!!

FOOD SERVICE:
Just OK. Alicia, Brenda, LaTisha, Monique, Kayla, Madison  & "Baby Gurl" comes to mind. 

THIS HOSPITAL NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY EVALUATE HOW THEY "TEACH" THEIR STUDENTS!!

OH, AND IF YOU NEED A "PATIENT"- ADVOCATE TO HELP....FORGET IT!!!

**THEY WILL "DUMP" YOU & DISCHARGE YOU EVEN WHEN IT'S NOT SAFE TO DO SO!!!***

You should be utterly ashamed of yourself for putting that poor woman out in that kind of weather! The only reason your staff said they were sorry was because they got caught!! I feel horrible for anyone that receives that kind of treatment and hope the ambulances can get to better care in decent time because that stunt was despicable!!

The out patient Pharmacy on Green Street is the best they helped me out a lot and they're very kind and considerate very nice clean friendly and fast
