Baltimore is a good place

The Cancer Center is second to none.  My father lives over 50 miles away from the University of Maryland Medical Center and he was taken there suffering from AML, a horrible disease for older adults.  We had expected the worse and didn't think he would leave the hospital.  After two weeks of simply fabulous care and 10 days of Chemo, he went home feeling almost normal.  He continues to receive chemo with the hope that he may be one of the lucky ones who is cured. 

I can only say the doctors and nurses are on another level from any hospital experience we've ever had.  Medical experiences are usually not pleasant.  However, based on the two weeks of care at Maryland, I highly recommend the facility to anyone.  Our family thanks everyone there.

Went in with difficulty and pain with breathing. The staff was excellent. They listened to me, took all the necessary tests, and were extremely thorough. 

The facilities were clean, the staff were professional and caring, and I felt truly cared for. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
