This office can not be counted on in an emergency situation at all. Went in needing an emergency referral to an Orthopedic surgeon with bicep muscle torn clean off the bone and ended up having two pins put in my arm as a result of needing crucial surgery ASAP. Because a PA failed to mark it "stat," even with expressing several times this was an emergency and confirmed by the Orthopedic surgeon. Put my arm at further risk of the muscle not being saved for waiting so long to get referral done and had to wait so long to get surgery scheduled as a result of it all. Couldn't get into surgery until 8 days later when I should have been rushed in sooner. The receptionist even went as far as laughing in my face about the entire thing when approached later about it to correct the original problem in making sure this didn't happen to someone else and trying to give the PA an educational opportunity to learn from. I was baffled as to how a professional in a professionals office could handle something like this in such an immature manner. As someone else posted, the staff is absolutely terrible to deal with and I had to switch my primary care doctor from Dr. Goldberg as a result of how terribly uncomfortable I am in going back.

I have been coming to this practice since I was a little girl. Everyone is so friendly and you can tell they truly care about their patients. The office staff and doctors went out of their way today to make sure I was taken care of and I really appreciate it. A very good place to go to get better.

Dr.'s Ellice Goldberg and Bruce McFarland are awesome. However, the office staff is a wreck. Just tried calling at 9:30am on a weekday and the message says the office is closed - but their office hours begin at 8am today according to the message. I leave messages, but the office staff (especially the billing and test results personnel) don't call back within 48 hours.
