So, I am on my way to visit my family for the holidays.  I get to Washington and notice that my check engine light comes on.  My car starts to sputter a bit and seemed like it was missing as I was driving up hill. Anyway, I pull into Elliott Tire located in Yakima WA to have my car checked out.  They did a diagnosis and went over the results in detail with me. They were very clear and direct with communications in regards to price, time needed for the repairs and so on. 
I left my car and returned the next day.  My car was fixed for the price they stated.  I am grateful I stopped here.

Excellent service at a fair price. You have to make an appt. We got an LOF and it was ready in about an hour.

So I went to get a oil change the other day..on my way over there my brother noticed my break lights were out. The shop did my oil change and did a maintenance check .They said my break lights were out and that it will cost more then $300 to fix it..he said I recommend you don’t leave with the lights not working and do the work on the car.I then said no I’m good I will fix it myself .So I left home with emergency lights and had my brother follow behind .We then went to shop for the plastic part that holds the 3 light bulbs and bought 2 for $32 and 2 break light bulbs for $8 .I went home and fixed the breaks the next day .It only took 10 min and $40 to fix the problem.Yet the shop wanted to charge me $140 for the 2 plastic parts .$12 for all 6 light bulbs and $140 for labor cost or more if took more time and taxes....oh and $90 for the machine to check what was the problem...I get my oil change and had bought tires for my wife’s car and have had stuff worked on that was expensive ..I don’t mind paying is just I’m not a idiot ..need to start looking for another place..I edit my post to say that most people are really friendly for the most part that’s probably the only thing I like now about this place

They staff is friendly and knowledgeable.  Great service,  affordable and always check our vehicles our fully and honestly.
