Every time I have been to Elways the food has been wonderful. From the drinks all the way to the desserts, never a disappointment. If I am taking a client out for dinner, I know Elways will be excellent.

Outstanding dining experience. My wife had Salmon and I had rack of lamp, which was the best I have ever had ( and I have eaten rack of lamp all over the country) Our server Chelsea was extremely attentive and efficient and her supervisor Eric stopped at the table several times-great PR. Would recommend to anyone visiting Vail and I have been going to Vail since 1977 and eaten in virtually every restaurant there!

Underwhelmed at every turn. Artichoke appetizer was inedible and went back, steak should not have left the kitchen - my filet was half the size of my dining partners (we ordered the same size) was falling apart and cooked unevenly, bread was stale, fries were dry and rubbery. It is shoulder season, but that is not an excuse. If the kitchen isn't going to try, then please close.

Called one month ahead to reserve a specific table with a view. Confirmed our table selection  that morning before our reservation. Walked in and were escorted to the back room because a more “important” group had walked in and requested our table. Manager was dismissive, disrespectful, and unapologetic. Food and service was sub-par.
