Since 1972, Los Amigos has been the place for Mexican food and apre ski. Sit on our massive deck, watch people come down Pepi's Face, and enjoy a beverage.

Story

Come on in and try some of our award winning green chili and prices. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat while up on the mountain, call ahead and place an order for pickup. You should be able to finish it by the time you get off Gondola 1. We are more affordable than anywhere on the mountain. After you have had a long day on the mountain, come sit on our deck, have some nachos, enjoy some margaritas, watch skiiers come down Pepi's Face, and share some laughs.

A staple of Vail.  Super convenient from the bottom of the mountain.  It's pretty much right off the gondola, just ski down!  Definitely recommend their black bean soup.  I like their chimichanga, and their nachos are pretty good as well.  Their guacamole is average.  Very affordable in otherwise expensive Vail.  And if you're into it, you can watch people skiing down Pepi's face from the patio.

The food is fair. But the smiles and kindness this place offers is well worth going! 
My margarita was kind of weak too. But like I said the service was very friendly!  : )

I'm pretty sure the black bean soup was just a can of black beans heated up, and the margarita was gross. Can't beat the location though, and definitely decent prices for Vail.

For the location, they could have better service and better quality food and drinks.   Everything is just average.

Worst experience at any restaurant! 4 friends got assaulted by a waitress! WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. 
Long story short:
15 friends on vacation decide to do dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
-Friend 1: Orders a Dos Equis beer dressed (salt and lime on rim of bottle). Waiter rudely says we don’t do that here. Waiter comes back and slams a bottle of salt and says “you can do it yourself”.
-Friend 2 and 3: drinks are wrong. We tell the waiter drinks are wrong and he replaces it after giving a disappointing face.
-We ordered multiple appetizers. Half the table only got appetizers. Other half never got it. 
-One and one-half hours passes by we finally get our food. Plate and food are lukewarm. 
-Another hour passes, we finally get our bill. Waiter never split it, even though he asked at the beginning if it was going to be together or separate. We told him separate.
-The bill is completely wrong. Everyone had added drinks that should not have been.
-Friend 5 takes initiative to correct the bill while waiter walks off. Friend 5 talk to each one of us and asks us what did we have. 
-DO WE TIP? OF COURSE NOT. WHY WOULD ANYONE TIP IF THE ABOVE HAPPENED TO THEM?
-As we leave another waitress not helping us calls us cheap. 
-As we leave the table that waitress comes out and hits 4 of my friends on the shoulder. 
-We demand to talk to the manager. Manager is leaning against the wall and says “I’ll have a talk with her”.
