I lived in the USA for close to 20 years I have NEVER ever had any issue with the Embassy of Tunisia. In fact, all staff members I dealt with (beyond the consular section) were as courteous and polite as expected if not more. Over the years my passport gets renewed in less than 10 days and mailed back to me. So am not sure the two reviews on here that claim that the embassy has poor customer care or citizen care that is NOT true. I attest to their professionalism and politeness. So these reviews could be from anyone who wishes harm upon this beautiful country and its citizens... even pissed off Tunisians would not come on a public forum and dish about their own embassy.... so go run that game on someone else. Tahaya Tounes!

the WORST experience  at this place in my life .I send my passport to be renewed to Embassy of Tunisia since 4 months. They haven't renewed it yet. I call every week extension 115 and 117 nobody answer the phone.Sometimes they leave me on hold more than 30 minutes and they hang the phone.I call more than 7 times I get the same respond .the respond we will send it next week ...that is unprofessional and shameful as counselor lie and keep lie in you. THEY DONT RESPECT THE TUNISIAN MIND.
JUST THEY  DON'T WAN'T YOU TO BOTHER THEM ANYMORE .

Not sure what is going on but it seems like their representatives will lie to your face multiple times saying and I quote, "I will make sure the passport is sent to you today." I called three times to get the same response. This is not a false post. This is real. They promise things about the passport but don't actually commit to it. It's rather disappointing and unprofessional. No other embassy has this issue.

I have lived in the US for almost 30 years,  and i can honestly say that I have NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE with the Tunisian embassy/Consulate in Washington DC. Every time I dealt with them, they treated me with respect and courtesy.  Also, I always received my renewal passort and my family's in record speed and efficiency.  Thank you,  and am very proud of all of you representing us in the USA.
