They do everything to take your money, be very cautious when you send your original document here, these people are unbelievable. My friend needed to renew her passport and she sent ALL required documents via UPS to this place. She waited for a month and never heard back anything so she called the number. They almost never pick up the phone, and there is no option for you to leave a voicemail. My friend kept on calling until finally somebody answered her. Now they informed her that they never received her original passport, but they got everything else.. My friend knew that she included her original passport in that package, and she confirmed with UPS the package was not damage when delivered. How do they got everything else even the small photos but not the passport book!?? I figure out this is their new trick to get money. Passport renewal is $70, now they hide her passport to make it becomes a passport replacement, which cost more money of course. My friend will not let this go away, she contacted UPS and they are doing an investigation on this. For those that need to send your documents here, I would suggest you video tape the whole process when you send your documents away. Hope this is helpful information for you.

The Staff is unprofessional, very rude. There was barely anyone there waiting for service and they did my paperwork poorly, sloppy, trying to get people out of the room for their own comfort....... I'm ashamed to be Vietnamese and having this embassy represent it. If I have to spend $500 or more to go to the Vietnamese Embassy in Texas, I would!

Difficult to reach by phone at times but they're very nice and professional. Wonderful at answering questions!

This place is a joke. I am about to have to drive to Washington DC to attempt to get my passport back. They have had it for almost a month now. They will not respond to emails. I have called no less than 20 times trying multiple extensions and no one will answer my phone calls. I deeply regret not doing visa on arrival. I now have no passport, no visa and am supposed to be going to Vietnam in a few weeks.

Super fast service! Response to email promptly and phone promptly! VERY fast service! Got my visa back in a week. The visa was well made and very professional! TOP notch service for sure. This is the fastest service that I ever received any where else, especially knowing that at the Embassy they have many applicants to work on. Tuan helped me and went beyond and above. Thank you so much and appreciated a lot.
