I purchased a Blue and Gold  baby from Jerry Jennings of Emerald Forest Gardens. I picked my bird out as a baby. My bird was still on formula feedings which I knew nothing about. I was told by Mr. Jennings that he was leaving on vacation and that I had to take my bird home with me. My bird was in no condition to be given to me yet. I was taught one time how to give my bird formula and that was it. I took my bird home since I was told that I had to and I tried so hard to feed my baby bird and take such good care of her. Unfortunately forcing a an unweaned bird onto someone who doesn't know what they are doing is an awful mistake on the breeders part. My baby ended up dying because I didn't know what I was doing. I told Mr.Jennings thinking that he would have a heart and compassion since he forced me to get my bird since he was going on vacation but nothing. He refused a replacement or a discount on a new bird. I was left was a very expensive cage, the best toys and feed and no bird. It broke my heart. All I wanted was a replacement bird but he was very uncaring. Wish I would of shopped around. I miss my bird so much.
