More than a negative review of this business, I am adding this post to share our experience in hopes that others read it and take action themselves to potentially save their own pet’s life.  Our small dog (11 pounds), had thrown up sometime around 6pm on a Wednesday night.  At about 9pm, she threw up what looked like saliva 2-3 times.  Thinking her stomach was upset and most likely empty, I thought she just had to rest to feel better. At midnight, our dog came up to us in bed panting. Immediately I called this urgent animal care facility for advice and guidance. I explained all the events of that evening, our dog’s age and size and asked if I should bring her in.  The voice on the other end said that panting was a common response to an upset stomach and she probably just needed to work everything through her system. We did just that.  The next morning, we found our dog limp and she had deteriorated so badly over-night that we rushed her into another nearby animal hospital at 8am. Despite intravenous tubes being placed in our dog in attempt to save her life, her body was so depleted that she died a few hours later.  The thing I feel most guilty about when making that emergency call for our pet to this pet care facility, is not asking the person that answered the phone if she was a doctor, a vet tech or simply someone hired to answer the phones in the middle of the night. I just assumed anyone answering an emergency line for animals would have our pet’s best interest in mind and ask the needed questions to ensure our pet’s well-being.  I am most saddened that I left my pets life and ultimate death in the hands of that call. Our pets can't tell us how they feel so instead of placing trust and faith in voice on the telephone in the middle of the night, make a decision that is kind and compassionate and take action yourself to get your pet in to be seen by a doctor. We wish we did. We might still have our beloved pet.

I've only been here twice, both on times when our regular vet is closed. This last time was to help put down our failing cat (she was 18? or so years old & went downhill overnight) they were very compassionate and helpful on a sunday morning when I really didn't want to wait at all. It was sad, but the experience was as good as possible.

Our 2 year old Orange Tabby was hit by a car. And these people are great. Our cat lived only to be eaten by a coyote. Yes, Denver has a Coyote Problem. I promise you, that Coyote will never come around here again. (Yes, he's still alive). I don't know about you. But take your animal to this place if you suspect injury or sickness. Owning an animal is not cheap. This place will work with you. Our 130 Rottweiler named Zion cut his back leg. On a metal and blood was everywhere. I rushed him back here. And blood was everywhere. I tried to wrap it. But 130 rottie who is injured, does what he wants to a point. Anyway, Zion belonged to a man who died, from slipping on ice. And they were going to put Zion to Sleep. We've had him a for 2 years. He is 4 years old. And is now on a diet. I love this place, they are very reasonably priced. And think of them as photographers in the wild. They see an animal needing help. They can't do it. These doctors, can't get involved with animals that they can't legally, or be paid to see. If they did, they would not be in business very long. They cleaned up all the blood on ther nice white floors, and entrance carpet. Zion is a guard dog by 1st owner. Some people think they are the dog whispers and they can just walk up and say. "Don't worry Dgs love me" ... That's not a dog that's ZION! So, if you have a Zion big ass dog. to a little Orange Tabby named Sunshine! They know, they are not afraid, and they do need to be paid. They don't diagnose over the phone. I tried that too!

I called about 12:30am, had a very serious question about signs & symptoms of black widow bites on cats.. Let's just say the girl had NO idea what she was telling me.. I ended up finding much more accurate & plausible info just through google search..
