This is a very unique little County store in Mesopotamia Ohio. Most everything in the store is Amish made, from homemade fried pies to jams, jellys, and sauces. They have the best selection of by-gone kitchen gadgets and get a new one everytime I visit. Whenever we are in Ohio we never miss a chance to stop in.

Walk back into time with a trip to End of the Commons General Store. Lots of memorabilia, old time candy, yummy food, Amish cooking supplies and baked goods. Lots of aisles to looks through and great items to purchase. Friendly staff, clean environment, reasonable prices. Something for everyone. Stop and take a few hours to look around. You won't be disappointed.

I have been lucky enough to live just minutes away from The General Store.  What a wonderful place, and staff are *always* friendly.  There are so many things to look at, not to mention eat, from nostalgia to modern tastes.  A deli, ice cream and a small kitchen offer huge amounts of flavor to satisfy any hunger.  With a selection of toys, candies, ornamental items, t-shirts, locally made syrups, honey and jams, fresh grains and pastas, candles, kitchen items, a small hardware area and more, it has something for everyone.  Our family has enjoyed lunch trips for years.  Check out the Mespotamia Ox Roast as well, a very fun and intriguing time.
