I normally do not leave reviews for almost anything, however, I felt the need to leave one for Enterprise Rent-A-Car located in the Wilmington Train Station due to the diligent and immaculate customer service I received. I originally had rented a car through Enterprise for only three days, however, due to last minute circumstances on a daily basis, I kept having to extend the days. Each time I called the office, I spoke to Mike. Mike was very polite, professional, and patient with me. I also spoke to Marie who was just as polite, professional and patient. Along with great customer service, I like that the location is conveniently located within the Amtrak Train Station. This is useful for people who have to travel via train often, like myself.

They provided me with great service and the car was very clean which is very important for me. I've rented not so clean cars from other companies in the past.

At this location(Wilmington train station 100 French St. Wilmington De.) because their office is located in the Wilmington  train station they charge you an 11% fee added to your bill at the end of your rental period.  This to me is outrageous!! Enterprise chose their office location not me. Why should I have to pay an extra $65.00. For a 14 day rental period? As the rude young man at the counter told me..... "$65.00 Was not alot of money. Why don't i just pay it?" Obviously Enterprise is paying him way to much money if he thinks $65.00 is not to much money to throw away!!   Non of their other locations do this!!! Beware before you sign that rental agreement at this location!!! After all this discussion  They didn't have any cars available in my insurance company's  $40.00 a day allowance range!! Will never use this location again!! BEWARE!!

I was very impressed the service member handling a high volume on my visit. He remained calm and pleasant and did his best to assist everyone. I was not happy to learn that debit/credit cards are not accepted even with in-state ID and needed to bring or find 2 utility bills; not items I usually carry. Other than that, the car was clean and ran well, the price fair and the service excellent.

I called to see if they had a midsize vehicle with leather seats. This is not an unreasonable request. The CRV I had rented from the Newark location was very dirty inside. I thought this would be a reasonable accommodation. Sarah the branch manager told me to drive to PHL in the peak of rush hour,  to receive an accommodation because 80% of her vehicles had cloth interior. 

Nevertheless, she could've at least offered me a vehicle with a clean interior, this would have been sufficient.

In the middle of our conversation she hung up on me. I called back to ask her why ... her response was "I thought the conversation was over". Stay away from this location. If the managers behavior is unsatisfactory I cant imagine how her subordinates represent Enterprise.
