Went into Eric's last night in Eden Prairie and Paul assisted me.  One of the best sales experiences I have had in a long time.  What a great guy and amazingly patient and knowledgeable.  It was a major purchase and I walked away feeling really good about my decision.  Thanks Paul!

Brought my road bike in on a Sunday for a general cleaning and drive train tune up. I was told it'd be ready Thursday. Called Wednesday to confirm and was told by a rude employee that it'd be done some time Thursday. Didn't hear from them all day Thursday, so I called Friday afternoon for an update and was told it'd be done that evening or the following morning. Didn't hear back from them. I called the following afternoon and was told it had been finished the night before but the tech had a habit of not notifying customers.

I walked over to pick up the bike to find it hadn't been cleaned. I just wanted my bike back at this point so the manager (Aaron, I think his name was) took off the price of the cleaning and knocked 20% off the tune up (regular price was $90 or $100, which seems high to me but I usually do this kind of thing myself). I asked if they were particularly busy or what and he basically just shrugged.

TLDR Mediocre customer service, but they did a good job on the drive train.

Hit or miss service wise. It's either really great or really bad... however they carry great bikes and great gear.

Lots of service issues recently…. I’m trying to keep this objective. The folks there have been relatively nice but seem oblivious to customer service.

On 7/9, I brought my bike in for brake work. I was told it would be done by 7/12.

On 7/13, I received a call that the bike would be done on 7/14. 
     * This means I was called a day after it was supposed to be fixed
     * This means my bike repair was to be two days late

On 7/13 (later), I received a call that they could only do one set of brakes because they are out of brake pads. They need to order them from Burnsville (19 miles away), and they won't be in until 7/18. I'm amazed that 
     * After having my bike for 4 full days, they didn’t plan already check inventory and place the order.
     * It takes 4 days to get parts only 19 miles away
     * It was somehow acceptable to be 6 days late on a brake repair

On 7/14, I called the service dept and said that I’ll take my bike with only the front brakes replaced, and asked that they could make sure it was ready in about an hour (which they agreed). When I got there 90 minutes later, it was pretty empty but they
     * Were confused why I was taking the bike, went in back and the wait time was awkwardly long
     * Didn’t know how to remove the brake order from my bike repair, had to ask around, then took quite a bit of time to resolve

I loaded up my bike and drove about 5 miles to my destination and prepped to ride the bike.
     * The front brakes had almost zero tension
     * When I looked at the brakes the adjustment knob was missing and piece to tighten was incredibly loose

I happened to have tool handy to tighten it and it fortunately held for the ride.

On 7/15, I called to let them know about the tension on my brakes and asked if they had the missing part. They said they had extras and to come on in tomorrow and they’ll take care of it.

On 7/16, I went in and
     * No one knew what I was talking about.
     * They didn’t have the part.

They have agreed to order it and take care of it this week.

PS. I also think it’s strange that they never clean my bike when I bring it in for tune ups.

I came twice at Erics bike shop in eden prairie. I've waited for at least 20minutes trying to talk to somebody to help me purchased a specialized roubiax  bike but was ignored by the staff nobody even asked. You better look rich to go to eden prairie location or you'll be ignored like me. I ended up buying a trek  domane in the other hike shop on eden Prairie.
