My wife and I were wanting to do more biking, we decided to purchase new bikes. We looked around and ended up at Ernies Bike Shop-Massillon. The great staff there showed us several models and put us in the perfect bike for the type of riding we are looking to do. From a good selection of bikes to personally fitting you in your new bike Ernie's is the place to find your new bike. Thanks Guys.

If I could give less than one star I would because of how rude and awful Ernie of Ernie's bike shop was to me. I have bought two bikes from this store, rented bikes, and have had many repairs also done here so I have spent PLENTY of money in this store.  I brought in a bike on June 9th that needed the handle bars raised so the piece was $20 and with labor it was almost $60. If that wasn't bad enough, when I saw the bike it had a 5" inch rip in the seat which I know for a fact it was not there when I dropped it off. I understand accidents happen so I brought the bike back in so Ernie could do the right thing by me but that was not the case. He was unbelievably rude and and a downright jerk to me. He accused me of bringing it in this way. I explained to him that I was not pulling anything I just thought he should make it right. He had and employee try on a $8 seat bonnet which he expected me to pay for. I explained to him that I just spent $60 on the center handlebar post and I was not putting any more money into this bike. He took the bonnet back, turned around and mumbled "oh well" and walked back into the building.
I can not believe a business owner treats people who spends their money in his store like this. I wish I knew this before I bought two bikes there. I will never recommend this awful person to anyone.  Beware!!!!  DO NOT SHOP AT ERNIE'S- OVERPRICED RIP OFF WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Friendly and helpful people. Rents bicycles of various kinds at a competitive rate. Also operates a kayaks and canoes rental. There's a coffee, ice cream, and deli shop on site.  Tow path for walking and biking is a stone's throw away.

Amazing service.  I purchased a bike new last year from the North Canton store.  Since then I have put about 400+ miles on it.  A few days ago I was riding on the towpath and I noticed my rear derailleur was constantly slipping out of know where.  Ernie's in Massillon just happened to be along the way and I stopped in and told them about the problem.  The young lady working there grabbed my bike, figured out the problem and test rode all within 10 minutes.  I was back on the trail and trouble free at NO COST! I was very impressed.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I take my bike there every year for a tune up. They always do a great job for a fair price.

This has been one of the great local businesses in Massillon for many years.
