They changed my alternator after which my radio wouldn't turn on. I took the car back for them to fix it and I was told my radio fuse kept blowing. The radio worked fine prior to them working on the car. I was told because I had a box of fuses laying in the door. there was nothing they could do and blamed me for messing with the fuses. Now I have an electrical short and apparently it is my fault

I would not even give these people 1 star if that was an option. I first was having transmission issues with my car, called my dealership and they had my car picked up and sent here. These people (expert tech) had my car for 2 weeks almost 3. Ok, that's understandable, but when I got my car back there was A) still transmission issues and B) an added on massive oil leak that wasn't present before my car was under their care. My car also was making a rattling noise that I was unfamiliar with. I took my car back told them that the transmission was worse and the car was making a strange noise and the guy looked at me like I was crazy and treated me as if I was making it all up. 2 WEEKS LATER, I check the grill of my car and they left their freaking wrench there (which was the cause of the rattling noise) then I popped my hood and they left a freaking screwdriver as well. Mind you, I bought 2 quartz of oil, poured them in and it all literally drained right out onto the ground when I literally had an oil change 3 or 4 weeks before I gave my car to them and there was no leaking issue (trust me, I always get a 2nd or 3rd opinion when I get something done to my car). I called my dealership so fast and they had my car picked up immediately and sent it RIGHT BACK to expert tech. Now here is where they begin to piss me off, today is Jan 25 and they have literally had my car since early in December, meaning they've had my car for over a freaking month. Mind you, they had my car for 3 weeks before they told me that they couldn't fix my car and had to send it somewhere else because the transmission wasn't connecting to my car's computer system. I literally have to call these people for freaking updates about my car and 99 percent of the time, the person that answers says "can I get your phone number and once I check our records or make a few calls we can give you a call back" BULLSHIT!!!!!!! For the month that they have had my car I have literally had to call them everyday because apparently they feel no need to give me any updates on my car. I work 2 jobs and attend school, I NEED MY FREAKING CAR. All of my freaking money is going into uber and the metrorail, mind you, I still have a car note that I have to pay for the very same car that I know nothing about. Then the other day I called and a woman answered and she was gonna give me the run around again, telling me that Tony wasn't there but if I leave her my number then they'll give me a call back, my mother got upset and began to explain how everyone there tells us the same thing but never calls and the rude woman hung up on us. We called back and guess who answered the phone.......TONY!!!!!!! And with an attitude...... he told my mother that the last thing he would do is give us the people's number that is supposedly working on my car and that he was gonna call them at 12 and then give us a call back. Guess what!!!! HE NEVER GAVE US A CALL BACK!!!!! and I still don't know, to this day, when my car will be ready. I expected this to be a long progress but damn they don't even call me to tell my about my car, yet they have the nerve to feel aggravated when I call back to back to get details about my freaking car.

I had been to Expertech twice before but my visit yesterday requires me to change my rating to 1 star. I scheduled an appointment last week for an oil change and tire rotation for Monday at 9:00 am. I arrived a few minutes early and spoke with Tony, one of the owners, who told me the wait would be just an hour. I decided to wait in the shop instead of taking an Uber home, which I would have gladly done had I been told it would have been much longer. It ended up taking 3 hours, as I left right at Noon. THREE hours, for an oil change and tire rotation, and I was told ONE hour! This is unacceptable. Tony was unapologetic and didn't seem to care that I had been waiting so long. They had a problem with the TPMS system after rotating the tires but that added just an extra 15 minutes. Also, the woman up front, while friendly to me personally, was ranting about Guantanamo Bay and how Obama was going to let all of the prisoners go free (I'm not sure what "news" site she was reading but it was obvious she was a big Trump supporter). She said she didn't care if innocent people were in the mix. She also ranted about "illegals." I found it off-putting and was uncomfortable. I like to support local businesses as much as possible but I'll be avoiding this one from now on. They've lost a loyal customer. I urge you to go elsewhere and not give this place your business.

Had to use this place because of my car dealership. They do not call and update you about your progress ever. It takes multiple calls and being told they will call you back to get idea how long they will have your car for and whats wrong with it 2 days. Happen to me twice on 2 different occasions.
