CLEAN UNITS! I have rented storage elsewhere that has had mouse traps along with other charming vermin & bug disposal systems in place. They look like a Haunted House set up for Halloween. Exton Store-n-more has CLEAN units whether inside or outside that are cleaned and maintained as renters move out. All units are very accesible unless you are right in the middle of one of the temperature-controlled areas & then there is some walking to the middle from either door at each end of the building but they do provide small carts to help you at either entrance door which is very helpful. They also have late night hours for access if needed.

I would definitely opt for the temp-controlled units over the others if available - they are worth the extra $$ in the long run. Renting a unit on "off" times like late fall or winter will save you bucks at any storage site. The guys in the office (Pat & Bruce) are adorable and very helpful. 
Exton S&M, as we call it, really is a cut above. I would have given it five stars except for the fact that the owner of the facility does keep raising the locker rents every (rental) year by $10 so far. My only complaint. :(

I have been renting a unit here for the past 5 years and I am truly satisfied with the service I receive.  The staff is most pleasant and helpful.  The place is well located and very clean.

I rented a large storage 10x24' unit from them a couple years ago. I was moving from one house to another with 6 months between- everything I owned except a season's worth of clothes was in that unit. There was a huge storm and it flooded ALL the units. Instead of letting everyone know that there was flooding, they didn't say anything. And after 6 months of being in storage, anything that was on the floor was ruined.  Expensive furniture, artwork, antique leather bound books and clothing (in cardboard boxes) all brittle and moldy. They said it "wasn't their responsibility" and that they had not thought of calling me  (or anyone else for that matter) to let them know about possible damage. Had I known about the flooding issue, I could have gone there, opened up the doors to let the water out, and dried and washed things so the damage could have been less. Everything that did not get wet smelled moldy for weeks (specifically my living room furniture). These people overcharge and don't care about your stuff. Do not rent there.
