For over four decades, Karen Lorene, owner of Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery, has been supporting the world of antique and art jewelry. Facèré (pronounced fah-cherry) shows the work of emerging and established artists in a range of precious and alternative materials. Each year, Facèré produces exhibitions to which participating artists are invited, not only to show their work, but to lecture (before Champagne is poured!).
Every October, nine jewelry artists and nine published writers are invited to participate in Signs of Life, a literary publication and exhibition intersecting and celebrating the literary and jewelry arts.
Facèré Gallery is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, blocks from the iconic Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, the Rem Koolhaas Library, and the Seattle waterfront.
To find the gallery, enter the U.S. Bank City Centre Building between Pike and Union, from 5th or 6th Avenue. Facèré is located on the first floor at the building’s center—look for the glass jewelry box with no doors. All are welcome!
