This place is right next door to the Renaissance, so logical choice. It gets pretty crowded and you hope the bar tender is in a good mood. I had the 10 spice wings and fries. The wings were pretty unique and very crispy. I would order them again. The fries were good and came with a spiced mayo dip, which was really good.

Beer list is long, but not distinguished (get it?). The big name, safe breweries are listed, but I didn't find anything that piqued my interest after a long stint without real craft beer. Had a nice, easy gose, and a SN Hazy Little Thing for 7.00 per 14oz glass; served at perfect temps. Food is great, and it should be for the price (14.00 hush puppies....). Service was impeccable; waitstaff, and management. Can't speak for bartenders as we sat at a table.

Popped in for a quick snack near the Renaissance. Wanted sweet and salty, so we ordered the fries and the fritters. Fries were a good portion, not too salty, crispy and nicely well done! Fritters were large donut hole size, fried so they weren’t greasy and the inside was nice and soft. I’ll go back for both!

First time ever in DC! Super short walk from hotel! So many on tap beers; are you kidding me??!! Is this real life?? :) I tried the Aioli fries with sauces -they were amazing! I had the shrimp and grits with eggs and greens!!! One of the best dishes ever! The only issue we had (party of 3), was waiting 10 minutes while the hostess checked her email, and then having to ask her if we seat ourselves, and then she acted as if that was a stupid question. She also did not thank us for coming, or acknowledge us when we were done. She was still looking at her computer as we left. Server was Christa and she was sweet, and helpful, and attentive!! We really liked her! We will return.

Manager made sure our late dinner order got in before the kitchen closed. Much appreciated. Margherita pizza was delicious
