Went here years ago looking for a dojo and found it to be one of the finest I have every attended! Outstanding training, encouragement and leadership and amazing atmosphere! It is a place where you definitely get out of it what you put in to it and people who will help and encourage you to put the most into it and do your very best! I had to leave the state for work and unfortunately couldn't continue my training, but am looking forward to the day I can return now that I am back in state!

Fairwood Martial Arts is an excellent place for children and adults of all levels to learn karate. The instructors are rigorous yet fun and passionate about teaching karate. The atmosphere is overwhelmingly positive and uplifting. The spin classes they offer are also fun, and challenging. Kickboxing classes are a great workout too.

I have been attending classes here since I was a young child. The level of instruction is excellent and it is a wonderful family atmosphere. Their school helps create a community in the Kent and Renton areas that is greatly needed. Fairwood Martial Arts helps teach respect, physical fitness, and self discipline in those students young and old. They also recently expanded and now offer kickboxing bootcamps, spinning, and weight training classes that are all high quality with a lot of personal instruction.

I drove by Fairwood Martial Arts when it was in the Fairwood shopping center for over 15 years, then decided to get serious about losing weight. John helped me lose 60 lbs and tone up after the weight loss. What I love about it is it's NO MONTHLY CONTRACT and pay as you go mind set. Give Fairwood Martial Arts time and they will help you tone or lose or just keep in shape. Great place!!!

I learned of this place through the city of Kent, and I am so glad that I did. The hands on approach at this place is amazing, and the instructors are fantastic and some of the higher ranked members in the country. The value of the confidence you build in yourself and the exercise that you get is unbeatable. For the monthly fee (which is not like joining a club, no contracts!) you can attend any of the many activities they have, which is kickboxing, kata class, weapons class, regular karate class, and grappling, several times a week. Check this place out and you will be glad you did!
