So pretty! We had a gorgeous combo of ice and flowing water while we were there. We went at night and the Falls were perfectly lit. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Admission free. Just remember that crawling around on the rocks can be dangerous if you leave the sidewalks. Convenient observation tower with a deck. Lots of photo opportunities around the Big Sioux River water falls. Geese and ducks at play, watch out for goose poop in the grassy areas next to the water. Light shows after dark in the warm weather months. Great little cafe in the old power station building. Summer music and plays at the ruins of the Queen Bee Mill every summer. The 4th of July parade ended here and the Mayor had a free picnic to celebrate Independence Day this year. Mile 0 of the paved 18.5 mile bike/walking/skating trail that follows the river around the city is here.

Small yet very beautiful especially in the winter. Just wish they would salt more. There was a lot of ice on the walkways through out the park but with the freaky weather lately I guess that can be hard to keep up on. Also the viewing tower was closed which was a bit disappointing but being back here brought back a lot of memories and I would absolutely visit the falls again.

Great veiw, cute little cafe, and wonderful Falls Tower. Great for picnics and birthdays. Last time I was there, a man was playing the guitar and singing next to the cafe. He was rather good, and I enjoyed it. Lots of ducks in the summer too.

Nice clean park to stop for easy access waterfall viewing. Cool look out tower. Historic buildings. Clean.
