You really have to consider the time of day you decide to park here before you plan your commute. 1-2 pm seem to be the worst for parking because most students have arrived for school already and most traffic doesn’t end until around 5pm, so getting there before then to give yourself time to snatch a spot is best if you have like a 2pm class. The early morning is decent cause you can still find a spot relatively easily, and you have direct access to Storm Hall and West Commons.
Parking lot 12 is central to all SDSU places you might want to go on campus. You can't go wrong by parking here. It has an elevator.
This is not so much a response to the structure itself but the Parking & Transportation Services which doesn't seem to have a physical location. The fact parking enforcement has no issue giving tickets to people, even if they have a permit is ridiculous. PTS is visible in the early morning going out of their way to give tickets, even if they literally just saw the individual park and put on their warning lights just to unload something and then leave. Further, this parking structure should have areas specifically for students who pay to park there, as coming at night and being late to class because we had to compete with non-students who came for an event is ridiculous. PTS needs to get its act together, since it seems poorly run. We already pay a fortune to come to this school, stop gouging us more.
This is simply the best parking garage on campus. if you need somewhere to park even if its a bit of a walk to your class I recommend parking here
Parking machines didn't work. Rejected three of my debit/ credit cards. Near campus but hard to get to bookstore due to campus construction, which Google maps didn't recognize. We got lost going and coming back.
Don’t have anything better to do than ticket students who already pay a fortune to go here
Spacious and a very friendly staff made for a nice evening at a concert. Thank you for your kindness. The tall bald or shaven head gentleman was accommodating and friendly
Cleaned up after new kids on the block for work here cool place to go parking I'd easy sdsu is huge don't be afraid to ask for help
$20 for event parking should be spent on people with flash lights and whistles. We we're literally parked in the line for half an hour without moving. Only then did we hear the whistlers directing traffic and making the exit possible. It would have been better if they had done it when the event ended.
This parking structure is super convenient to get on campus. I understand that it was built specifically for the stadium/shows/events. But it's frustrating rushing to class only to find out the structure is closed to students on that day. Maybe if they could post at the college entrances so I can park elsewhere.
