I am a volunteer dentist in the Families First Dental Clinic. Its a joy to participate in serving people who have difficulty accessing care elsewhere. Oftentimes, our patients present with multiple problems-- only some of them dental-- and the staff does its best to meet their needs. What a wonderful group of compassionate, generous-spirited, light-hearted health care providers with a most worthy mission.

When we lived in the seacoast area, my husband and I were thrilled to discover the parenting classes offered at Families First. Our daughter was small, and could join the other kids in play while we parents met and had the chance to share experiences and frustrations. We watched videos about parenting techniques, had expert speakers, and generally supported each other through the early years of parenting. I sincerely believe that Families First contributed to our successful, happy children. We would not be the strong family that we are without those classes and the support of the Families First educators--I wish they could be available to every new parent.

I have been going to families first for 7 years and now my daughter goes here for medical and dental. I love all the staff here and strongly recommend them. My daughter gets excited to go to families first for her dental appointments!

I attended a support group for survivors of domestic violence several years back. It was a great group where I gained lots of good info as well as met other women in similar situations. It was great to be able to bring my children and have them cared for while I attended the support group.

I used to work at Families First and can tell you from the inside that the people who work there have some of the biggest hearts you could find. They really do care about the patients who come through the doors. I've seen some nonprofits who forget their mission and don't think about the clients first, yet Families First is 100% legit. Everything they do, every change they make, every new program is based upon the needs of the clients and the community. I've seen staff members hearts breaking for their clients situations and have seen them bend over backwards to try making things better. They can't fix everything, but they sure do what they can. This is a good place with good people.
