Story

The Fat Shack is happy to introduce the fat sandwich like you've never seen it before to CSU and Fort Collins. For those of you who have never heard of this style sandwich, we take all of your favorite ingredients (cheesesteak, chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella sticks etc.) and serve it in your choice of an 8" or 12" hero roll. To see a full list of sandwiches check out our menu in the photo section.

Whether you are craving one of our grill sandwiches for lunch/dinner or need a fat sandwich to satisfy your late night munchies, we are happy to serve you at our in store seating or deliver the food right to your doorstep!!

The store is neat and cozy and the staff are way helpful. I didn’t know about a lot of these options and they explained all the food items. Super helpful on that one. The food was good quality, but just not my taste. I do appreciate the puns and humor they have on the menu and stuff. It’s a hip place with good vibes and food and prices. 👍🏼

Absolutely ridiculous. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Came in at 1am with my partner, restaurant was slow, ordered a sandwich for myself, she ordered mozz sticks. Order was read back to me and paid 15 dollars, gave the extra $5 as a generous tip. Waited 40 minutes for my order, which obviously consisted of fried food. Another guy brings out my sandwich, then proceeds to argue with me about how I didn't order anything else, even though there were obviously 2 of us. Cashier is nowhere to be found. Says I'd have to get in line and pay and wait for the rest of my order. Ended up leaving with half our order after tipping well and being treated like trash. I've cooked and managed restaurants for many years and never witnessed such poor customer treatment. As a franchise, I would assume more care and etiquette would be taken.

Up until tonight they have been great. But they dropped the ball tonight. It took 1:30 mins to get here. Good food, don't expect any timeliness. [Edit] We're now at 2 hours. And still waiting. [2x edit] At 2 1/2 hours of waiting... I'm saying order at the counter. Or no fatshack.

Last night my boyfriend and I ordered a a 12in fat cow, BBQ chicken wings, funnel cake bites and a lemon tea. The only good thing about the order was the delivery guy. Who was super chill.. The steak on my sandwich was burnt. There was no cheese. The chicken fingers tasted old and salty. And that was 15$ sandwich. The BBQ wings were good but I just feel like I wasted a lot of money on food that I couldn't eat...

Disappointed, heard positive things about this place, so I was looking forward to trying it. Not only was it pretty pricey for just three things, but it took an hour and almost 50 minutes for the food to get delivered. Now usually the price is not a problem, in my book especially if the food is delish and service is fantastic! However, if both of those things are a no- go, then in no way is it worth it. By that time the food was arrived it was cold and the shake was that nasty soggy like it had been sitting out for awhile. I would have given it a higher star, but when I called the store the individual was incredibly rude on the phone like I was being a huge inconvenience, even though I was just inquiring about the wait time for food. Now I did order on the Order up app, so it does not give any detail on wait time or when it will arrive until a driver picks it up. I fully understand every place gets busy and you're not always able to get your food instantly, which is perfectly fine. Which is why I called because I was genuinely curious, especially since it was about to hit that hour mark, so to get that type of backlash is kind of disheartening.
