We stopped in for a late breakfast on Sunday, around 11:30. The restaurant was busy but by no means packed, yet it took almost an hour for us to get our meals. I think they must have been having some trouble in the kitchen.
My scrambled eggs were the opposite of fluffy. I don't think I could cook eggs that thin if I tried. The hash browns were barely browned and definitely did not have any kind of crust on them. The one bright spot to the meal was the astonishingly large biscuit - nearly a meal in itself.

My all time favorite place for breakfast/comfort food. Always ample portions and great staff. Picture is sample of what their omlette plates look like. This is the 'slop omlette' that I had today. Love their menu... not so much the coffee though.

Been awhile since I've been here, but the food was decent and exactly what I expected.  I enjoy these older diners that give you a sweet slice of classic americana.  Considering this place was recommended by two friends who had fond memories of coming here with their respective dad's it's not surprising.  I need to come back here and try the burgers and someone has gushed about how great they are.

Always an EXCELLENT experience.... I love this place!  Open for breakfast and lunch....I live on the other side of town and drove here today seeking ' the comfort's of "fatty patties"....(exit 8 Jersey guy) "yooo"!

I would hate to see this place if it was busy. There were 2 people waiting on 4 tables. I watched a cook smoke a cigarette or two. I'm pretty sure my plate was up while he was doing that because it came to me as he was going in, and it was cold. I don't mean luke warm, it was cold. I think it would have been ok, not great food, but ok. The waiter asked me if I wanted anything for my buscuit, I said yes please, butter and jam. He comes back awhile later with 2 BlackBerry jams. No butter. 
Basically one of the worst experiences I have had. Like I said, I don't think they could handle it if it was busy, they couldn't handle the 4 tables they had.

I recommend the drive to Paul's in Vancouver, way way better. But still the old school vibe.
