Felicia is great but the other braiders will not listen to you and braid too tight or style your hair the way they want.  I asked the woman who braided my hair to not braid too tight around the edges and she continued and said she knew what she was doing.  I wasn't questioning her ability, I was making a request for a service that I was paying for.  Also, I had received the same service and style 7 weeks prior and for some reason I was charged $30 more.

I had an appointment at this place at 10 AM i showed up 15 mns late the lady was waiting on me when i got there it was a sew in i swear she took over 5 hrs to do a sew in. I was inpatient, i was sleepy and hungry. Felicia showed up to show her how i needed my sew in and i still feel like i didn't get what i asked for and for the price that i payed for. Quite disappointed

This place has professional people working on your hair they make beautiful braids and sell awesome jewelry. Overall my reaction to this place is.......Totally amazing

I went only because the person who was supposed to do my hair originally had an emergency and couldn't do my hair. Boy should I have waited!!! I made an appointment for 3 pm and when I got there Felicia and the other lady were braiding hair. The other lady was almost finished and Felicia told me that it would be 2 people working on my head. So...at 415 when the other chick arrived they began my hair. The WHOLE ENTIRE 6 HOURS they talked and stopped to answer the phone CONSTANTLY! The talking wasn't low either! It was loud, lip smacking cackling in my ear! Meanwhile, Felicia is silently braiding her client. The girl who was braiding the front of my hair says, "Your hair is short in the back, so we should charge you $500." After I looked at her like "girl please" I guess she then knew that it wasn't funny. Long story short, once they were done I wasn't able to lift them til about 3 days later. I have had my hair braided numerous times before and they were never painful like this. I steamed them and they loosened. However, when I looked at the back where it is short, there are a LOT of places where there is hair missed. I seems as though she purposely didn't braid in those spots. Also, some of the braids further up have long pieces of hair sticking out of them. How could you NOT see this when you were braiding?!!! You saw it and just didn't care!! I'm glad I can braid so I will fix this foolishness myself, but needless to say I will not be returning to this place. If you go, please let Felicia do your hair ONLY and please take some headphones!!
