I was a member at Ferraros for 2 years (formerly Metal Health) gym back in 2009-2011. I had to move across state for a job opportunity, so I had to cancel my membership. For the next 7 years, I joined five other gyms and just never felt comfortable. I recently moved back to Wallingford, and I wasn't sure if Ferraros was still around, so I decided to head down and see, and sure enough there it was. They still have all of the original equipment, with some new stuff since I last worked out there. The gym has a very old school look and feel with brick walls, Iron weight plates, dumbells, bars and machines, but that's what I love about it. Some of these machines they don't even make anymore or aren't built as solid like the ones here. There's something for everyone whether you're a beginner or an advanced lifter. Everybodys really cool with eachother and supportive. I'm glad to be back where I belong.

Great gym and atmosphere. No shortage of any equipment. Tons of supportive members and staff. Ferraros gives back to the community. The gym welcomes all types of lifters. Cheapest day passes in CT and no drama or pressure like you find at other large chains. A+

I went to this gym recently to check it out as I moved into Wallingford and could not believe how poor the overall maintenance of the facility, toilets   not working, one shower the other not working. I am not sure who decides on the music in the venue as it is overly violent, overly sexual gang rap degrading to all humans especially women.  The few people in the place felt the same as I did and escaped the music by using their headphones, but have not yet decided to leave.  A suggest to management there is enough violence in the world already we do not need to listen to such garbage when trying to improve our overall mental and physical health..my suggestion is stay away from this place.
