I went for brunch with some friends and the food was great! The service, however, could use some improvement. We were there for several hours and the server told us we could stay as long as we wanted but brought us our bills and cleaned up our table leaving us with our water glasses. Unfortunately, after we signed our bills and left our tip, the server was nowhere to be found and we were left alone for 2 hours without her water glasses being refilled at all. Have we not already paid our bills, we probably would have ordered more drinks or food. We were there for 4 hours.

They have finally updated the TV's in the bar.  The food was above average for bar food but not outstanding.  The service was adequate, nothing to brag about.  Our serve failed to ask people which options they wanted with their meal and left all of us to have to ask for the change.  She acted surprised when we requested something other than fries as if she didn't know that was an option.  

The atmosphere is louder and a great place to get together with friends or co-workers.  Parking is limited and poses a problem.

A local sports bar with awesome food, plenty of TVs, and people who are truly interested in watching the Jazz play. Great service and drink selections as well.

I've been to fiddler's 3 times over a three year span.  Each time I visit I'm a bit more disappointed.  I still like the bar, the sports theme and the general vibe.  The service has been excellent each time as well.  That's why the two stars.  
The problem is the food.  It's clear that the cooks, head chef (if there is one) and management are not not interested in what is being served.  It's like they're not tasting what they're serving.  If they are, they shouldn't be in the restaurant business.  
The place lacks imagination and standards.  There is no reason to go back with so much else to try in Salt Lake.
