I've never wrote a bad review based on one visit to any business. However, the customer service I received at this place was absolutely horrendous. I do not know how a business stays open with people like that running it. I could go on to tell my whole story, but I'm not wasting my time. I wouldn't buy the latest and greatest sports apparel from this place if it cost 1 cent. I will never step foot into a Finish Line store again.

Terrible customer service skills displayed by irrational and inconsistent employees and management. I went to return a pair of white Nike's that I literally never even took out of the box. Both shoes still had the paper stuffing in them to keep their shape. The first female employee found a tiny orange scuff (the orange color of the Finish Line shoe box) on the back heel of one shoe and told me she couldn't accept them because they were "worn". I explained I had never worn them, and proceeded to literally wipe the orange scuff off with my finger and she still refused them saying that even if it was "just a scuff from thier box" that they couldn't return the shoes. I had my recept, the box, the bag, and it was less than 20 days since I purchased them from a store 30 miles from my home. I asked for a manager. He came out, looked at the shoes, did not see anything and then asked his employee where she say they were marked. He asked her to show him, and she replied "well there was a mark but she tried to rub it off and say they were never worn". Now I was mad. The manager then looks over the shoe again and finds a miniscule indent in the bottom of the shoe that he claims is from walking in the shoes. I look down at the carpet in the store and tell him, the only place I ever had that shoe on my foot was on their carpet when I tried them on and walked around in them. He replied with "we can't accept them as a return because we can not resell a used shoe that shows signs of wear." All I could say was, then how did you sell these to me? He refused to reason or have any other suggestions on how to resolve it so I left, irate. I have been in contact twice now with Finish Line Corporate customer service who surprisingly were very apologetic and understanding. They have agreed that I should have been able to return the shoes and are instead sending me a return male to return to them for a refund. I only hope they can follow through with doing the right thing since this local store has some pretty sketchy business practices.

Extremely rude employees. Overpriced shoes with poor selection. No service. I will never go there again.
