I'm visiting from outta town and my nephew works here. Obviously the beer is good with many choices. As for the food, so far so good. I got the fried chicken thigh sandwich and it was outstanding. Think about that word for a minute... out of all the food I've eaten in 2018 so far, this chicken sandwich stood out among the rest of all food categories I've savored. My sister loved her cheese grits and prime rib and my brother-in-law said his pulled pork was so-so. In my opinion pulled pork is basic and always so-so unless you're in texas. Bottom line: eat and drink here! If your experience is bad, it's probably because it just happened to be a bad day for everyone. We all have one.

Good vibe, marginal beer. Every beer I've had from here tastes like dish soap, so either they aren't rinsing the glassware properly or their beer taste like soap. Either way, it's bad.

This is a very well located brewery and has all of the beers Firestone Walker is known for, plus some extra Barrel works gems. The good menu is good, and service is excellent. I highly recommend a stop here for a quick bite, a beer flight or a beer-paired dinner.

This rating reflects the propagator itself, not FW beer, which is excellent.  Food is decent, but not overly great.  Our server(s) were either absent most of the night (I know Saturday nights will be busy, but not enough to make up for their absenteeism) or annoyed that we asked for more ketchup.  Parking is a nightmare, but probably par for the course.  Definitely an overly commercialized LA vibe vs craft beer vibe, which is probably what they were going for to make it work financially, but not what I care for.  Plenty of better options for craft beer or more of a local LA eatery/pub than here.  I have no problem buying FW beer, but the Propagator gives me very few reasons to want to go there.  To see this format (pub for a large brewery) done right, check out Deschutes Public House in Bend, Sierra Nevada’s restaurant in Chico, or Ballast Point in Mira Mar.  For a smaller format done well check out Lady Face in Agoura.  The Propagator should destroy this segment, but seems to not be very well run, pain to get to, and have an uninspired Chef.

Amazing food, beer and atmosphere. I really enjoyed he unique dinner options that were available. Highly recommended and would love to come back some day.
