My experience with First Data Services was terrible. The person who sold me these services was called Marisol Aramburu and I can tell she is/was the worst professional ever. Once she sells you the merchant services (First Data) she won't answer your calls anymore. This well-known bank should not have this kind of unprofessional people representing it. Worst experience ever!

First Data Global Leasing is a complete rip off/scam business model. Through a Wells Fargo agent we quickly signed a document which I thought provided us a payment system where we would pay a small percentage of what we sold through the system. The agent clearly communicated that we would not be charged any fees/monthly/yearly/or otherwise if we didn't use the system. One month after getting the system we were getting charged a $49.99 monthly fee, and annual fee, etc. I called FDGL, explained if this is the case I'd like to return the system. The communicated that would not be possible and that I was locked in for a 4 year lease. Turns out the paperwork we signed was a 4 year lease, and it was very unclear what was communicated to us when we were signing the document. FDGL also stated we could cancel the lease only if we had proof the terms weren't communicated to us at the time of signing. I had the Wells Fargo agent send a signed letter communicating that the terms weren't communicated properly, and FDGL said that wouldn't be sufficient! What else can I do here? The person, who was there when we signed the paperwork communicated that the terms weren't communicated to us at the time of signing, and we wouldn't be charged any fees. This company is ripping people off, has one of the worst BBB ratings, just google FDGL and see what comes up!

I opened a merchant account several months ago. I found their system to be less convenient than the processor I currently use, so I cancelled my acct. According to my contract, I was able to cancel at any time. There was a one-time charge of $42.50 for a portable device. Now, I'm charged $42.50 every month. My salesperson fixes it for me, but this should not happen, at all. How can you trust a company with your merchant services, when they can't even figure out how to make a one-time charge only once? This is now the third time. Really guys?

Nothing but thieves.  Pure crooks.    These cons should be working for the Fed's.
