They have a pretty decent breakfast, and lunch buffet. The hotel rooms are pretty dated tho, overall the place could use some remodeling to keep up with some of the other hotel/casinos in the area.

I got a great rate on a beautiful room at this hotel in deadwood. Super clean, really comfortable stay. The only reason it received two stars from me is because I believe one of their employees stole a cactus plant of mine. Sounds ridiculous, but we were in a cross country trip and I pulled it out of my car and set it on the ground right next to my driver side door to get some sun. We were the only car parked in the upper outdoor lot as it was a slow weekday. We were making trips to and from the car, and in less than 15 minutes my cactus was gone. The only person around that entire hour was a white girl in her mid twenties patrolling around on a golf cart. When confronted about it, she said a little too much about how she didn't take it. lol. For identification purposes, she had brown hair and a nose ring. I hope she enjoys my cactus. And I hope that First Gold Hotel sees this. The plant had been with me for over 7 years and lived in three states.

Had a little wait, but only because a Christmas party was booked.
Hubby thought it wasn't the best, but I was satisfied. Good service.

Room was nice, comfortable beds, the lady at the check in desk wasn't very knowledgeable other than that we had a great stay
