Stayed at the hotel 2 nights, gambled for a few hours here, and ate at Mavericks.  Can't say enough good things. Got a $30 deal for $15 to gamble/eat. Had the Ribs and 2 sides which were cooked to perfection. Gambling was fun and they have a lot of what seemed to be brand new slot machines with fun bonus rounds.

Rude and obnoxious.

We played balckjack. We are entertainment players who just enjoy the game. We played a little … maybe $1,200 (of which we lost) before we decided to leave. But this is not why I am writing.

After a few hours of fun play at the BJ table, the pit boss DOUG ( a genuine class a jerk!)  that night of Nov 25th came into a dealer rotation. He walks up to the table, THE FIRST thing he does.. he SHAKES the tip box! Then in a LOUD voice exclaims “NICE! You know we work here for tips! and people looked… 

I respond with “We have been tipping, in fact we were the ONLY ones tipping at the table all night”. 

He proceeded to shake the box again as if to call me a liar !!!  Then again goes on to say how “these people live off of tips!” In a blatant attempt to publicly shame us!!!! We have never, ever experienced this sort of a treatment from a  dealer… let alone a pit boss in a dealer rotation. Ive NEVER seen this at any casino in my life and I have played all over the world.

If they want to use public shamming as a source of wage increase.. its not working. Wont ever go back. EVER.
