We met a friend there went to her room rooms were nice, we also had breakfast Sunday morning at the mineral restaurant we had it to go. My Mexican omelet was good but my daughter or my husband did not like the biscuits & gravy, the server was very friendly and went above and beyond for us.

The staff of this hotel, in particular a woman named Cindy who works at the front desk, are incredibly caring, kind and wonderful people. My elderly father had a reservation at another motel but he got confused and showed up at the Mineral Palace on a night when the Mineral Palace was full. Cindy absolutely went out of her way to try to figure out where he had his reservation and she also tried to call me (I was outside of cell service area). In the end, Cindy had another guest cancel their reservation so she got my dad into a room. He stayed for 4 nights (I cancelled his reservation at the other hotel), and he was incredibly happy with his room and the people at this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel in lovely Deadwood!

Steak was amazing.  One of the best I have ever had.  Very polite and attentive service.  I will definitely come back.  Probably tomorrow.

I lost on tables and slots. But my dad won a little on slots. I liked seeing some of the new slot machines I'd never seen. ONB. But also wanted to use an old school slot machine. Really liked the town of Deadwood.
