This is a great gym for a great price! If you need smoothies & a country club atmosphere, go to the country club. If you want to workout, this is the place! 
	Bring your own gym towel & workout with good equipment but don't expect a lot of expensive perks that require a big staff to constantly collect, wash & distribute clean towels. Good location, inexpensive. Good people from the staff to the other members. I've yet to encounter anyone who has been less than friendly and many people are very helpful. Fitness Connection is great for young and old, beginners and professionals.

Staff were all super friendly but I get the feeling this is a super hard sell kind of place (I went in on a guest pass as I’m visiting). 

Lots of machines but VERY tightly packed. If you’re shy and don’t like a lot of eyes on you, you’ll probably be uncomfortable here. 

Bathrooms are well organized and stocked (+100pts for showers that are individual rooms with locking doors. -90pts for a dirty shower. :(

If you sign up for personal training sessions, don't expect to receive your service or to even be able to contact the Training Manager. I got to use my sessions for a month before the gym ghosted me. I have not had a session in three months. The last scheduled session I had was supposed to be complimentary because the manager had not contacted me, but when I showed up to this session the Training Manager did not. I contacted corporate customer service multiple times and got no where. Finally one of the corporate customer service managers was able to contact the gym, and the Training Manager called me. We talked and he said he would contact his district manager to see what he could do. The next day I called the gym to talk about the feedback I received. Surprise surprise I could not get in contact with the Training Manager, I called a second time later and could not reach him yet again. Today I talked to him on the phone, but he tried talking down to me as if I was in the wrong in the whole ordeal. I understand things happen, however three months without a session is a bit ridiculous.

It is unfortunate that they use abc financial.  I could share some shady CC activities with the way they charge, but they are affiliated and probably aware. Shame on you FC.

This gym is perfect. I don’t need some towel service. I don’t need a juice bar. I don’t need any over the top amenities. I just wanted a very simple gym where I can come in and get a great workout. 

That’s why this gym is an absolute steal. There are plenty of bench presses, squat racks, and other weightlifting equipment to go around so that I can work on 5x5, PHUL, PHAT, etc. 

The best part? It’s only $10/month. That’s insane. All the weightlifting equipment I need for $10/month. For the price I’m paying, there is nothing worth complaining about. 

If you are looking for the best fitness classes, the warmest towels handed out at the front desk, or a smoothie bar packed with sugar, go someplace else. All those are completely unnecessary to the purpose of coming to a gym; and that is getting in a fantastic workout. And for $10/month, there is simply no better deal in Charlotte. Hands down.
