Very fortunate to have a park so close. Nice camping, but some goofy rules. We pay for a sticker for a year but only get to use the whole park for 8 months because they close off the road. No snow to speak of this year so far, but road is still closed. Talked to a few people and they are not happy about this either. Open the back road for nature driving.

Great state park! The camping during the week was quiet and pleasant. Fire rings seemed rather new and bathrooms were consistently cleaned. Pool was nice but the "sand" was more like gravel and not friendly. Probably because someone wanted to save a few bucks by not bringing in real sand. Sand would have made it 5 stars. Plenty of easy hiking available. Would go again but not for the pool.

Great state park! Electricity only hook ups, nice and shaded spots, and really nice and clean bathrooms and showers. Man made sand bottom swimming area is great also. Area has many things to see and do.

Very nice open camp sites visited in fall. Plan on coming back in summer can not wait!

Great camping and outdoor showers. Nice sand bottom, filtered swimming hole with Lifeguard. Only problem with pool is too many kids that sometimes there is feces found in the water and the Lifeguard has to shutdown pool for rest of day until it's drained, cleaned and refilled.
