Easily one of my favorite MN State Parks. Their newer campground is full hookup on all sites. It's very open yet, as all the trees are still young. Campsites on the western edge of the new campground are up against bigger trees which help shade your campsite so you aren't baked all day. There are no restrooms or showers in the new campground but there are several huge picnic gazebos. There is plenty of room at each site and the roads were very wide, so our kids had a blast on their bikes and other wheeled toys while staying withing eyesight the entire time. The older Wolf Point campground is typical MN State Park campground, but not as crowded. The beach area was pretty small, just a small sandbar with water access but the lake was nice. You have to go down steps to get to the water. The views are amazing. There are plenty of very well maintained bike and hiking trails, including an island loop, that are all short enough that smaller kids don't have too much trouble keeping up and completing the trip. The longer bike trail is about 7 miles long and goes to the nearby town Curry where you can stop at the End of Line Railroad museum. Lot of fun at this park.

Beautiful place to enjoy camping, snow skiing, walking the dog, and boating. Fantastic wildlife area with plenty of deer to see on almost every visit. Nice swim area and an abundance of trails and wilderness area that is amazing to explore and photograph

Nice lake for swimming and fishing. Shared lake with private residents so loud motor boats and jet ski's can get old fast. Saw pelicans in the morning. Nice campgrounds!

Even though the campground was full it didn't feel busy. Staff worked hard to keep bathrooms clean. Had fun on the 6mi paved bike trail loop with the whole family.
