This place was amazing. I had the Chicken Wrap with the Flipn Hot sauce and it really was one of the best chicken wraps I have ever had. Not only that, but it was served with a mountain of fresh fries and was big enough to share. The Flipn Hot is spicy, but not unreasonably so. I'll be bumping it up to their hottest next I come.  My wife and daughter split the chicken salad, no sauce, with honey mustard for the dressing. Honey mustard is quite sweet, too much so for my taste, but my wife and daughter enjoyed it. The bread sticks were the biggest let down. They were so garlicky that they had a bitterness to them. Other than that though, the bread sticks were buttery and soft and very nice.  I highly recommend and will be returning sooner rather than later. Definitely can't beat the value for your money.  Parking: Plenty of parking

This place is the best kept secret in Charlotte! The fries are home made, the chicken wrap had all fresh ingredients, and the wings were insane! Also, the guy behind the counter knew it was our first time visiting, and gave us their famous bread sticks to try ... I'll be back... like tomorrow. Thank you Flip-a-Lo's!

Amazing place! The guy working the front counter was super super sweet. Delicious food, chicken was tender. Big proportions for what you get. Fair price. All around a really good little spot to eat at. Gave us free drinks! So lovely. I was looking for Zoey's kitchen but it got replaced by Cava Digital Kitchen so I went to flip-a-lo's from a friend's recommendation. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean and the interior was well lit. I ordered garlic Parm chicken wrap with fries and my gf ordered lemon pepper chicken tenders with bread sticks. Both items came out within 5-10 minutes from ordering the restaurant was empty at the time of ordering. The food was fantastic! The chicken was fresh, crispy and well seasoned. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The bread sticks are also well seasoned and filling as well. The blue cheese sauce had chucks of blue cheese in it and it was substantially thick. I will definitely come back and take full advantage of the rewards system.

This place is outstanding. The quality of their food is high, and more impressive is their consistency. Every time I come here the food is fantastic. Try the Atomic flavor - only if you really like spicy. For a fan of spicy food, it is refreshing that their hottest flavor is indeed extremely hot. Tasty too! The owner, who is often at the restaurant, is kind and is motivated to ensure you enjoy what this place has to offer.

Flip-a-Lo has Charlotte’s BEST chicken strips and wings! Fresh, never frozen, chicken is seasoned to perfection, using top quality ingredients. This hidden gem is tucked away on Pineville Matthews road and is the perfect spot for everyone. Indoor/Outdoor seating available. Love supporting this small business and hope they expand to southend/uptown in the near future!

See below update  Great place for wings. Took the Atomic sauce, spicy and tasty.  Update September 2021 - Food remain good, but service got worse. I can’t claim my rewards online, so I called to place my order and explained I want to use rewards. Employee working had no clues how to apply it. So i didn’t use rewards and didn’t get rewards for my current purchase. And I had to go back, forgot fries.  Fix your online rewards to claim.  Removing a Star, from 5 to 4 since service and rewards claim online doesn’t work.  May 2022 Back to 5 stars. Service got much better lately and those Atomic wings are the bomb. Hostess in town.

Wings were sub par. Soggy, not crispy. The atomic sauce lacked a good flavor and was just hot to be hot. The strips were good. I liked the teriyaki sauce but not the tangy BBQ. They are really stingy on their sauces so you are limited to how many sauces you can try. I didn’t like that. The breadsticks on the other hand were really good. Gotta go at least once for the breadsticks.

The wings are pretty bland, I asked for extra crispy but they taste undercooked.  The Tenders are very good here but the wings are very disappointing.
