The encounter I had with Dr Esposito was profoundly disturbing on many levels. He attempted to act more like a psychiatrist than a pain management doctor and recommended I take an antidepressant that I already have a documented adverse reaction to. When I voiced my concerns over much of what he was saying, he became visibly upset, became dramatic and lost all composure (actually had to excuse himself). I have witnessed psychiatric patients become overwhelmed, however, I never expected to see a doctor display these mannerisms. Not so much disappointed with my visit as I am worried about this provider's state of mental health. I hate to leave this kind of review - but patient's need to be aware.

Want to sit in pain in cheap, uncomfortable chairs for 3-5 hours before you are admitted to the inner sanctum for a consult as a returning patient (non drug seeking - just a spinal cortisone injection) and after having filled out 24 pages of paperwork which the office already has in the computer? Then this is the place for you!! On my last, and I do mean last, as in final visit, I waited for three hours, asked to be rescheduled, and was told by the receptionist, "Oh, Mondays are always like this." I left and found another doc who is not so consumed by greed that he triple-books. Five patients ahead of me in the Pineda office had already exited, with some choice words about having waited more than three hours. I have seen Dr. Udeshi half a dozen times and have found him to be knowledgeable and capable. However, it doesn't matter how good a doc is if the patient can't get in to see him. I would prefer to be told, "No, we can't see you." as opposed to being told, "Sure come on in". and then sit there in pain with my driver and watch the waiting room patients explode.

In pain the whole time,knowing that i have debilitating neck and spine trouble and after numerous visits and MRI. Finally they wrote prescription for pain. They snatched it back because i accidentally told them the wrong pharmacy and all they had to do was call the pharmacy to correct the mistake. These people constantly complain about the multi million dollar corporation that doesn't care.Unwilling to listen because of being desensitized by way to many people and human pain.they kept telling me" company policy Dr said no, company policy Dr said no".They told me i would have to wait another month, NO BIG DEAL, RIGHT. The wait is horrific.You don't want to go here,TRUST ME.

In the beginning I got my new patient appointment and took the drug screen and was told to come back in a week for my medication.. When I came back in a week they told me they could not write it due to the tests taking 2 weeks to come back.. So got another appt for the following week and received my medication **($80 co pay each time, would have been nice if they didn't schedule me that 2nd time but with other reviews that seems common)** Always waited a long time on visits.. Also, be very careful with your urine tests through them.. They "lost" mine one month, which I believe was to try to just make me pay again the following month... And then mixed mine up with someone elses due to them letting you take it whenever and place it with other patients tests and other patients that need to take it without any staff in sight.. If the tests are so important why don't they look after it better and not allow anyone to do whatever they want while the staff is off with someone else.. Then kick you out without being able to retest even with those bad practices...

I have been seeing Dr Layton for over 10 years . She was at go the best Dr I have the pleasure of knowing. So you can only imagine the horror at hearing she has sold her practice to Florida pain. Remarkable the transition went as well as possible with little to no problems . Both new and old staff seems to work well together . I am seeing the doctors for neck pain and I am very piticular who works on my spine. The new doctors are as good as doctor Layton was and I am very happy that my care is just as good and professional as Dr Layton . I am happy with the care and I am as happy today as I was 10 years ago. Thank you.
