Story

Having served the Bradenton Area for over 30 years, you can imagine the beautiful things that are happening in our shop. We pride ourselves in our customer service as well as the relationships we make. We specialize in fresh cut flowers, arrangements and special events. We also do outside the box custom orders- we love the challenge!

fortunately I’ve never purchased anything from this florist and don’t plan on it after my experience. Understandably I look 16 when I don’t wear makeup (which shouldn’t matter as a customer is a customer) and consistently have the issue of going into higher end stores and getting “the look” because they think I’m 16 and don’t have money. Needless to say this happened yesterday when I stopped in to talk to someone about getting flowers for my mothers birthday. I was abruptly cut off mid stride only 4 feet into the store, asked what I wanted, and told to go online. I even had to ask for a card! It’s pretty sad that I was treated this way when I was walking in ready to buy. I won’t ever be doing business here. Edit: I was thoroughly surprised to see a response to my review and honesty more surprised to see I was actually remembered. I was not pleased with my initial visit however given the thoughtful response to my review and the possible misunderstanding it makes me feel slightly better. Everyone has bad days especially when it is busy and I completely understand that. I will consider you for my upcoming purchase and hope to have as wonderful of an experience as these other reviews.

Our friends mother passed and we wanted to send something other than flowers...Mark suggested a floor plant that could not have been more beautiful and was greatly appreciated. ..when my friend called me with concerns about wilting, Mark was there again to coach us through reviving it, which only required a change in lighting and water, and the plant has thrived ever since...Will definitely use Flowers by Eddie again and recommend to all! Thank you Mark!

I normally do not buy flowers, but my mom was a bit sad. I called this florist, and they did a wonderful arrangement! It looked beautiful and the price was reasonable. It was also delivered on time. I will definitely use them again.

The florist called to say they were limited to Christmas colored flowers this year. I asked if she could still make an arrangement that wasn't 'overly' Christmas that could be for a birthday. It turned out stunning and as it happens, it is both a beautiful birthday present and Christmas centerpiece. I have been using Flowers by Edie for many years and they always come through..... even if it isn't my initial order - always seems to be more magnificent.
