We brought our 14 year-old Golden Retriever into Forest Lake Animal Clinic thinking we wouldn't be able to bring him home.  But our dog made a remarkable recovery thanks to the expertise and care of Dr. Roof and his dedicated staff.  He is home and doing great.  We highly recommend Forest Lake Animal Clinic.

LOVE Dr. Roof. He shows great compassion when working with the animals and takes time to explain the problems to their owners. When he was treating one of my dogs with cancer, he often followed up as late as 7pm to see how she was doing.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I walked in this animal clinic as it was the closet to my house- in an extreme EMERGENCY- my puppy had a fishing lure stuck through his MOUTH. I was refused help at the front, and told they do not take walk in's. In addition to no sympathy, concern, or help for my animal. My dog was bleeding and there was not one other car in the parking lot, but they were apparently too busy. They obviously are not following their own policy which is posted on their website which states,

"To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time."

Emergency cases a top priority!?? YEAH RIGHT. Thankfully, I was able to find a CARING animal clinic, where my dog was taken back IMMEDIATELY  for emergency surgery. 
 
I WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS ANIMAL CLINIC!

I will trust these people with my baby any day of the week. I owe them big and thank them profusely. There is a special place in heaven for hearts this big.

Dr Roof has been the vet for our 3 dogs and one cat. We are very pleased about his service and feel he genuinely loves these animals. He has certainly gone the extra mile for us. We highly recommend him.
