I moved from an area where I had one of  the best veterinarians in Washington and was a bit apprehensive about giving the folks at Ocean Shores Animal hospital a chance, but I had a stray cat adopt me and I wasn't able to drive the 4 hours one way to my other vet to get her checked over and get her shots, so I gave OSAH a try and was pleasantly surprised.  Dr. Freel is very caring and really listens, as well as explains everything in detail and doesn't try to "sell" you anything your pet doesn't need.  The ladies at the front desk are exceptional, as well as the techs.  Their prices are very reasonable, as opposed to what I had heard from some local folks who believe they are quite expensive.  (I'm sure that's because they haven't gone to any other animal clinics outside of Ocean Shores).  Also, they do followup calls the next day to see how the pets are doing, even if they just get their nails trimmed!  As much as I hate to cut ties with my previous vet, I will be using OSHA for all of my pets needs (3 dogs and 3 cats) in the future.

I was on vacation and had to find a vet. My senior Diabetic dog has been going down hill. This vet helped my dog better then to previous in just one visit!!  I wish I didn't live 150 miles away. I will not hesitate to make the drive if need be!! Awesome bed side manner too!! Dr. Steele  is very knowledgeable and has avenues to help out our pets by free info online by teaching others how to continue care on issues like diabetes for one. Ocean shores is lucky to have her!!
