This place is awesome. Once a month there is "take apart day" where kids can come and take apart old electronics. The museum itself is very well designed with hours of exploration and it truly never gets old. There is also a coffee shop called Flat Hat, which serves excellent coffee. Finally, they have prairie exhibit in the lobby which houses a live black footed ferret named Two Bit. A warning, sometimes it is very busy!

As my first visit, I must admit... it was amazing! I really only got to experience in full the planetarium as part of a field trip for my astronomy class, and that alone is a great reason to visit this place, but I got a taste for what everything else had in store, and it all really had me intrigued. If you have kids, I highly recommemd taking them here. It'll be worth it!

Kid-friendly exhibits that you can literally spend hours at. There's a heavy emphasis on music and physics, which is cool for junior scientists. The "soundscape" exhibit is really cool. In this exhibit, you move your body and sensors in the room create various sounds. Kids really love this one!

This place is amazing! If you have a kid and live in town, get a membership. You get to come play indoors anytime you want, there are displays for all ages, and you automatically get in to other discovery museums across the country (which has been a fun part for me on numerous road trips.)

We have a membership and love it. Lots to do with the kids. Nearly everything is hands on. Fun for the parents as well. There is a toddler area that our little one loves. The only bad thing I can point to, and its not the museum's fault, is that you will see and deal with a good amount of kids where their parents are just staring at their phones and they are doing things they are not suppose to do. Other than that this place is great!
