Privacy between spaces. Wide spaces. You're backed up to the water. Nice breeze. Lots of trees. Beautiful views of the bayou. Lots of tv stations on antenna. We felt safe here.

Great place to camp. Wide variety of activities to choose from. Facilities are clean and well maintained. If you camp there, be aware of the racoons. They are very talented at finding food - even if it means unzipping your tent and letting themselves in! If you are a birder, this is your paradise.

Very nice campgrounds, well maintained. Lots to do, biking, fishing, and great beaches, miles if great white sandy beaches. Many campsites on Waters edge and if u are a boater u can tie up at your campsite. Campsite fees are very reasonable, best bang for the buck. Make reservations well in advance.

The North Beach is one of my favorite beaches. They have been making improvements to the landscape. The campground offers fishing, boating, and they rent bikes of various occupancy. The restrooms are also being improved. There is a lot of restrooms offering showers as well. They are close in proximity to all campsites. They have an onsite store offering hot coffee to frozen bait. No alcohol can be purchased here. There are sites on the water for nice views and fishing. The racoons are shy but friendly. Never leave anything out because they will get into it. They have amazing powers at their capacity to open things, such as coolers and trash bins, etc. NOT all sites are pet friendly but they do have an area for Pet owners. All areas including showers are handicapped accessible :) Hope this helps some.

Camp site 151, 15 yards from the water. Awesome! Kayak is ready for this priceless fishing adventure. Neighbors are a little close (this site, some others show a little more distance and bushes). This is Florida backyard that is the reason we love living here.
